The second meeting of the EURASIA project consortium took place Nov.
2-3, 2018 at the University of Catania in Catania, Italy. Discussions focused on the results and achievements in the first project year, which include a comparative assessment of the teaching needs and capacity of the Indian and Chinese universities to introduce courses in European Studies, as well as a series of exchange visits between the European and the Asian partners. In the last two weeks of October the University of Catania hosted the first training for faculty from Jindal Global University and Symbiosis Law School in India and Beijing Foreign Studies University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China. The training is part of the capacity building program of EURASIA and the planned joint curricula development in European Studies. Sofia University will organize the second training on December 3-15, 2018 and the third will take place in Krakow at the end of January 2019.
