On May 21st, 2018, at the House of Europe, the EURASIA project partners were specially welcomed by Ognyan Zlatev, head of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria. He emphasised the fact that European universities had been working and cooperating together for decades but that at the present time they had the chance to transfer their experience abroad and to establish partnerships with non-EU countries. In his words, this is a win-win strategy as the EU has a great deal to offer in terms of capacity building and quality education, while European universities need opportunities for comparison with other education providers worldwide.
