Daniela Irrera is Associate Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Catania (Italy) where she serves as Erasmus Coordinator and Deputy Dean of Internationalization and Research. She is Convenor of the ECPR Standing Group on International Relations, member of the ISA governing council, Secretary General of the Italian Political Science Association, Associate editor of the Journal of Contemporary European Research. She has been visiting professor in several Universities in Europe, Asia, US. She has been DAAD Fellow at the Peace Research Institute in Frankfurt; faculty member of the ERASMUS MUNDUS MUNDUSMAPP program at IBEI, Barcelona; grant holder at the EU Center of Excellence, University of Victoria, Canada; visiting professor at OSCE Academy, Bishkek.
