On May 21st, 2018, at the House of Europe, the EURASIA project partners attended а Public Lecture within the Kapuscinski Development Lecture series. The event is part of the internationally acclaimed Kapuscinski Development Lectures, named after the prominent Polish journalist and writer Richard Kapuscinski, author of a number of books and reports for developing countries around the world. The lecture is a joint initiative of the European Commission, the United Nations Development Programme and partner universities and development tinkers.
The speaker focused on the European Consensus on Development, which was signed in June 2017. This new, ambitious, collective European development policy unites and focuses on the main focus of the 2030 EU strategic plan - the planet, people, prosperity, peace and partnership.
