The EURASIA partners who initiated joint research into the specifics of PhD education at the end of 2019 – Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, the Jagiellonian University, Symbiosis International University – Law School, Pune and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies – took part in the 2-day international symposium ‘Examining the Doctorate’ organised by Durham University, UK.
The participants were from all over the globe – the UK, Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, India, China, the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Thailand, and Mozambique. They presented their research findings and discussed the similarities and differences in doctoral education on a national and institutional level reaching important conclusions and formulating opportunities for further research and collaboration.
