The EURASIA project consortium meeting 1 (D1.7) took place on November 2-3, 2018 at the University of Catania in Italy after the end of the first long-term training seminar. Discussions focused on the results and achievements in the first project year, which include a comparative assessment of the teaching needs and capacity of the Indian and Chinese universities to introduce courses in European Studies, as well as a series of exchange visits between the European and the Asian partners. The project partners took important decisions about the development of the project over the next two years. The next two training sessions were scheduled to take place respectively at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Sofia, Bulgaria (December 3-15, 2018) and at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland (January 20 - February 2, 2019).
