This updated course was elaborated as a result of Prof. Zheng’s participation in distance peer review sessions with Prof. Dr. Maria Stoicheva from Sofia University and Prof. Francesca Longo from the University of Catania. She also had the opportunity to discuss its content and the delivery with other Bulgarian specialists during the short-training round held on 1st -5th July, 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Around 30% of the course content is changed according to the recent development in the discipline and most importantly, as a result of the author’s participation in the EURASIA project.

The course was subjected to accreditation procedures at GDUFS – China, approved accordingly and was delivered as a compulsory course for MA students of European Studies.
